What she finds there is a tight-knit community consisting of women, children and the leader of the group, Michael Godson (David Macrae). He claims to be in the body of a living God. The investigation reveals the dark secrets of the cult, but when Black tries to sound the alarm, the situation gets out of control and she has to fight for her life.
