Ausgehend von seinen eigenen Gedanken und auf dem Hintergrund seines Lebens als Vater und Filmemacher, spürt der Zürcher Filmemacher Stefan Haupt dem Geist der Zeit nach. In assoziativer Montage vermischen sich dabei zwischen 2016 und 2020 geschossene Stimmungsbilder und Straßenszenen mit Statements von Haupts Angehörigen, Freunden, sowie prominenten Persönlichkeiten aus Forschung, Politik, Kunst und Kultur. Das Spiegelbild einer bewegten Zeit, die mit Einsetzen des Shutdowns im März 2020 abrupt zur Ruhe kommt.
Based on his own thoughts and against the background of his life as a father and filmmaker, Zurich filmmaker Stefan Haupt traces the spirit of the time. In associative montage, atmospheric images and street scenes shot between 2016 and 2020 are mixed with statements by Haupt's relatives, friends, and prominent personalities from research, politics, art and culture. The reflection of an eventful time that comes to an abrupt halt with the onset of the shutdown in March 2020.
