Handlung13 Fanboy
Als Kind wird die kleine Kelsie Zeugin des grausamen Mordes an ihrer Großmutter, einer Darstellerin in 'Freitag der 13.', durch einen verrückten Fan. Viele Jahre später scheint sie das Trauma halbwegs überwunden zu haben und arbeitet selbst als Schauspielerin. Doch die Ruhe währt nicht lange: Kelsie (Hayley Greenbauer) findet heraus, dass ihre Oma längst nicht das einzige Opfer des irren Killers ist und der Mörder weiter schlachtet. Während sie versucht, die beste Freundin ihrer Großmutter, Hollywood-Ikone Dee Wallace, zu retten, gerät sie selbst ins Fadenkreuz des wahnsinnigen Fans...
Regisseurin Deborah Voorhees (selbst Darstellerin in 'Freitag der 13. Teil 5 - Ein neuer Anfang' von 1985) erschuf mit ihrem blutigen Slasher '13 Fanboy' (2021) eine wunderbare Homage an das legendäre Horror-Franchise von Victor Miller und Sean S. Cunningham. Mit einigen originalen Cast-Mitgliedern der kultigen Reihe an Bord, ist '13 Fanboy' ein packender Schocker voller Old-School Slasher-Kills und jeder Menge (Herz-)Blut.
As a child, little Kelsie witnesses the gruesome murder of her grandmother, an actress in 'Friday the 13th', by a crazy fan. Many years later, she seems to have halfway overcome the trauma and works as an actress herself. But the peace doesn't last long: Kelsie (Hayley Greenbauer) finds out that her grandmother is far from the only victim of the mad killer and that the murderer continues to slaughter. While trying to save her grandmother's best friend, Hollywood icon Dee Wallace, she herself finds herself in the crosshairs of the mad fan...
Director Deborah Voorhees (herself an actress in 'Friday the 13th Part 5 - A New Beginning' from 1985) created a wonderful homage to the legendary horror franchise of Victor Miller and Sean S. Cunningham with her bloody slasher '13 Fanboy' (2021). With some original cast members from the iconic series on board, '13 Fanboy' is a gripping shocker full of old-school slasher kills and plenty of (heart) blood.
