Professor Angel Berriartua (Álex Angulo) hat seit 25 Jahren die Bücher der Apokalypse studiert. Er ist zu der Überzeugung gelangt, dass der Antichrist am Weihnachtsabend in Madrid geboren wird und die Menschheit fortan in ewiger Verdammnis leben muss. Dadurch, dass er böse Taten begeht und dabei skurrile Verhaltensweisen an den Tag legt, hofft er, den Teufel heraufbeschwören zu können, um ihn dann zu überlisten. Es gelingt ihm, in dem Death-Metal-Freak José María (Santiago Segura) und in dem betrügerischen Fernsehprediger Cavan (Armando De Razza) Mitstreiter für seine Sache zu gewinnen. Zusammen geraten sie in die absurdesten Situationen, bis es in einem apokalyptischen Showdown zur Konfrontation mit dem Teufel kommt.
Professor Angel Berriartua (Álex Angulo) has been studying the books of the Apocalypse for 25 years. He has come to the conviction that the Antichrist will be born on Christmas Eve in Madrid and that humanity must henceforth live in eternal damnation. By committing evil deeds and exhibiting bizarre behavior, he hopes to be able to summon the devil in order to outwit him. He succeeds in winning over comrades-in-arms for his cause in the death metal freak José María (Santiago Segura) and in the deceitful TV preacher Cavan (Armando De Razza). Together they get into the most absurd situations until it comes to a confrontation with the devil in an apocalyptic showdown.
