HandlungDiary of the Dead
Während der Dreharbeiten zu einem Filmprojekt gerät eine Gruppe Studenten mitten in eine Invasion der Untoten. Der Filmstudent Jason Creed (Joshua Close), seine Freundin Debra Moynihan (Michelle Morgan) und ein aus Mitstudenten bestehendes Filmteam drehen in den Wäldern Pennsylvanias einen Horrorfilm für ihre Uni, als im Radio erste Meldungen von wiederauferstehenden Toten laufen. Verzweifelt und verängstigt versucht die Gruppe, sich zu ihren Familien und Freunden durchzuschlagen. Doch Jason beschäftigt ein ganz anderes Problem: Weil er die Verlogenheit der Berichterstattung anprangert, lässt er auf der Flucht vor den Untoten gnadenlos seine Kamera mitlaufen und dokumentiert den Angriff der Zombies, um sie später über das Internet der Allgemeinheit zugänglich zu machen.
During the filming of a film project, a group of students gets caught in the middle of an invasion of the undead. Film student Jason Creed (Joshua Close), his girlfriend Debra Moynihan (Michelle Morgan) and a film crew consisting of fellow students are shooting a horror film for their university in the woods of Pennsylvania when the first reports of the resurrected dead are broadcast on the radio. Desperate and frightened, the group tries to make their way to their families and friends. But Jason is preoccupied with a completely different problem: Because he denounces the hypocrisy of the reporting, he mercilessly lets his camera run along while fleeing from the undead and documents the attack of the zombies in order to later make it accessible to the general public via the Internet.
